Why we built this.

NYC's public parks run some of the best tennis courts in the city — and some of the hardest to actually get on. Reservations open in a single batch, a few weeks out, and the popular morning and evening slots are gone within seconds of the window opening. Camping out on the reservation page at the exact right minute isn't a strategy. It's a part-time job.

CourtWatch exists because refreshing a webpage over and over is a bad use of anyone's morning. Tell it the park, the date, the time window, and the courts you'd actually play on — it checks in the background, on a schedule, and emails you the second something opens. You get your morning back. It does the watching.

This is an independent personal project. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by NYC Parks & Recreation or the City of New York — it just reads the same publicly available reservation data any player can see, and does something useful with it.
